This has been a difficult month for us and these Easter photos offer a visual representation...The first photo was made about a week before Mommy Cat passed away on March 19 after a quick decline in her health; the second photo depicts a halo added over Mommy Cat a few days before Calle's sudden, unexpected death on April 4...A halo will be added to sweet Calle in subsequent holiday photos, but I loved her wearing the bunny ears...Of course, Halle, Sukki and I are all deeply grieving, but I feel very grateful we were blessed with the chance to love and cherish Mommy Cat and Calle for many wonderful years together...then, now and always.

It is so difficult to lose a loved member of the family but when you lose two it is more so. We Know that Calle and Mommy Cat are watching from the Bridge with love and that we shall all see each other again.
