Garage Apartment Visits

It's been close to 2 months since Mommy Cat left for the Bridge and in the last few weeks, Halle and Sukki have started going into Mommy Cat's garage apartment to check things out; we are all still grieving so it is very sad for each of us to be there without her...Once they go in the garage, they smell all her things, sometimes "meow" for her and want to go back inside...We still miss her and Calle so much, but are trying to heal=baby steps.

It takes time for us cats (and Beins) to adjust to changes and losses. Our thoughts to all of you...

The moment I saw that circular rug, I felt a little sad. :-( I miss Mommy Cat and Calle too.

It is really hard to adjust to the loss of sweet kitties.
Their memory is everywhere. It does take time, but you always miss them.

Grief is so hard when you lose anyone that you love. There are memories every where you look in the house and it is sad. You will never forget them as they will always be a part of your heart. I miss Calle and Mommy too. Love and memories from the heart. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Everyone has said it so well and so understandingly. There is always a loss in the house. It takes quite a time, but you become accustomed to it. But still, the empty place that is there now, is "visible" and we feel it always. The family had changed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Grieving always takes longer than we think it should. I hope you are finding some peace. *hugs*

When Mr Buttons went over the bridge it took quite a while for the house to settle down as he was very happy go lucky and a friend to everyone. Ok not you Rumpy we know. There is something missing from life but they live on in our hearts as big as ever!

They certainly do live on in our hearts, well said.
Looking at the cat rug, it looks like there's a black cat on it, at the left, in the bottom 2 pictures. A visitor?
