We've had some strange weather this Winter in the South, but on our coldest days, the fireplace has been very appreciated...I think Calle loved the fires most; even when she wasn't actually lying in front of it, she was always hanging around that part of the house.
I wish we could have a fire in the fireplace! But we live in a fire hazard zone so even if ours worked, it probably wouldn't be wise to light it.
