  2. A beautiful post...we are praying for you and your family. Mommy was thinking of the People in her life touched by cancer, and many are survivors. Never give up hope.

  3. Dear Jacqueline,
We are so sad to hear that your "sister" is sick, we are sending prayers and purrs your way and hope that she gets well soon.
I have also lost a family member to cancer and know that it is a difficult expirience and sometimes staying positive seems hard but we know that you have a good heart and that you will be there for your friend whenever she needs you. Lots of love, purrs and hugs... Amanda, Winston & Harry x

  5. Hi Halle. Smooches!

Jacqueline, how is your aunt/sister doing?

My first cousin just finished her 6th chemo treatment, post-mastectomy, last week. She needs the other breast removed too, sooner than later, then will have reconstruction. Her mom passed with cancer 2.5 years ago....It's insidious, isn't it? My ex's mom had had colon cancer...twice. (As far as I know she's still alive and doing okay.)

Anyway, I'm sending lots of healing Light to your family, especially your "sister." Please let her know she has a lot of positive energy coming to her via cyber space!

And (((hugs))) and Light to you, for strength, calm...whatever it is that YOU need.

  21. Hi Jacqueline: Halle, you look adorable, as always. Thanks for stopping by my blog. That picture goes waaaaay back (15 years or so) and that kitten was found wandering up the middle of our street one morning, no collar and hungry. So we took it in and found him a wonderful home where he lived to be a senior cat. His name was Shamus.

  22. Oh what a great picture!

And we got so behind - we just caught up with your post yesterday - we are sending tons of purrs and prayers for your friend and hope that the chemo works - 52 is so young. My dad had colon cancer and it seems to run in my uncle's family and he has been very lucky and had it caught early in himself (his brothers aren't as lucky and they are still fighting it) so we are big believers in getting checked as well.

  23. Halle, did you know that if your eyes were open, they would match purrfectly with that gorgeous cross behind you.

  24. You look very beautiful there, as usual!

We (me and the Human too) hope that your family member continues to do well. We are sure your presence there was a comfort.

Also: No, Aggie and Wally do **NOT** live here (and thank Ceiling Cat for THAT). They are my Human's "step kittens"! She is spending a lot of time with them, which is fine with me because when she is off for the summer, I find it annoying that she is around here too much!

  25. Halle, you are an oasis of tranquility and spiritual peace in that photo! It is calming just to see you.

  26. Do you think closing your eyes will keep you hidden?

We are purring for your family & hope that your relative comes through chemo ok!!
