When I took the stray kitty to be neutered, the vet's office named him Tom and I'm thinking I might stick with that name...Tom only comes by 1-2 times a week, so I believe he actually has a home or he's possibly a neighborhood cat that stops by different houses for food and company as he pleases...Whatever his situation, we love seeing him and he is extended family to us!
Thanks fur taking khare of 'Tom' - and having him tutored!
ReplyDeleteHugz&Khysses,
Khyra
He's a very regal looking fellow, we bet he gets a lot of food from anyone he wishes with that face!
ReplyDeletePurrs to your mommy for being such a kind purrson.
ReplyDeleteYour mommy is a kind human, kitties.
ReplyDeleteSorry my mommy's been ill and I have not been visiting many blogs the last few days. I'm out on a stroll now :)

Awwww - he is a gorgeous addition to your beautiful family, Jacqueline! I'm so glad he's found you and Daddy Cat and Mommy Cat. Charlie thinks he's also as enamoured with stunning Sukki, Calle and Halle as he is! :-)

We think Tom is a purrfect name for him. He sure is a handsome ManCat.
ReplyDeleteSniffie and the Florida Furkids
Bless you for taking care of Tom!! We know he appreciates it!
ReplyDeleteIf you are able to touch him, maybe you can slip a breakaway collar on him with a tag. Our mom did this with a cat once and found out it was owned and from the next neighborhood over. It would just come by to eat. The tag had our phone number on it and the owners called her up.
Hi ya, Tom!! You've found a great home to hang out at!!
ReplyDeleteTom, you are looking very handsome as the Man cat of the day. He probably travels around the neighborhood but maybe he does have a home and they are gone a lot. But what ever he sure does have a wonderful second home and I bet he starts coming around more often.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
I like the name "Tom" ~ it suits him! :)
ReplyDeleteHe sure is a handsome feller!
ReplyDeleteTom is a great name for your visitor. If he gets to eat at every place he calls he probably ends up very well fed. He doesn't look at all bedraggled so he perhaps has lots of "owners".
ReplyDeleteThank God you had him neutered 'cause he looks like he may be the neighbourhood stud. Tom it is. Hugs, Deb =^..^=x5
ReplyDeleteI think Tom is a lovely apt name for your kitty visitor. I think he knows he is in a very fine place with you. I wonder if he does have a home and what they thought of his little operation. He must not be compleely happy there if he wonders around. Thank you for caring enough to get him neutered or as Khyra says tutored. Beautiful picture of him you captured there.. Have a good day my lovely friends.. GJ x

ReplyDeleteTom is indeed one lucky Tom cat.
Thank you for your efforts to see that he was neutered and healthy....
I bet he'll start coming more and more. He is handsome!!!
Madi and Mom
Even if Tom has an owner, I am glad you had him neutered. I think Tom will always be a regular visitor at your home because he knows you, Jacqueline and your sweet outdoor babies Mommy and Daddy Cat. Kudos to you Jacqueline for being a caring and sweet person who cares deeply for animals and I might add people too. :)
ReplyDeleteTom is one lucky kitty to have you looking out for him! I'm sure he thanks you every time he sees you! He's pretty good looking too!
ReplyDeleteHi Tom! You are so handsome :) A cow kitty in your family now! puurrrrrr
ReplyDeleteYou are the best, you have really taken him under your wing!!! He is one lucky kitty!!
Purrs, Keiko, Kenji & Pricilla
I think that is a very good name for him too!
ReplyDeleteOh Jacqueline!
ReplyDeleteYou have a heart of gold...give Tom a cuddle from us.

Yes, I think you're probably right. I was thinking that, too -- because he seems so well fed. Unfixed tomcats will wander more, so he could seem like a stray. So Tom is the perfect name for him -- although now he's fixed. You've done him and the neighbourhood a service.
ReplyDeleteHooray for Tom being neutered! You are so nice to do that! So many unwanted kitties will never happen now and THAT is a very good thing!
ReplyDeleteOur Georgia started out that way!
ReplyDeleteThanks for neutering Tom! Mom has done that before even when she knew who the cat belonged to. One less litter to worry about.
ReplyDeletecats of wildcat woods
Oh he so cute and looks like hes got some major catitude! Fun fun!
ReplyDeleteTravelin' Tom...yep, Tom is a good name for this Handsome ManCat. He looks well groomed, so presumably he has a nice place to sleep and wash up. Bless you for "fixing" him, he'll be a healthier happier kitty this way.
ReplyDeletehe does look like a Tough Tom to me!
ReplyDeleteWe're happy that you took the time to care for Tom and have him all fixed up. He thanks you too (as we're sure all the roaming ladycats do as well...MOL)
ReplyDeleteThank you for being so kind! He will enjoy his life much more now....he can just relax!
ReplyDeleteOh we are so touched you took care of Mr.Tom (and he is too, although he might take longer to admit that)...what a sweet face.

That's so sweet! I always say, neuter & spay, it's the only way!
ReplyDeleteDa Boys say, "Momma says we're Tims instead of Toms because we've been broken*. Shouldn't you call him Tim??"
*I can't call it being 'fixed' because everything was working before surgery, ergo it's being 'broken'.
Tom looks pretty relaxed :) We bet his beans(if he does have some) would not even notice he lost his hoohaas, heehee Thanks for doing such a kind thing :)
ReplyDeletePurrs Mickey,Georgia & Tillie
Tom looks very handsome and content. He will have a much better life now he is neutered.
ReplyDeleteHey Tom is a cow-kitty just like me! We aren't suprised that you adopts all the kitties. You have a very kind heart.
ReplyDeleteWe love you and all your kitties!
Squashies
Very sweet thing to do Jacqueline. That kitty would be best served to come by your place more often.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Hey cool cats! Thanks so much for stopping by our blog! It's great to meet new friends!
ReplyDeleteYour mom rocks for taking care of Tom!
Play bows,
Zim
Thanks for helping Tom! It's best that there not be too many stray kittens out there--I know, I was one till I got abducted, oops, strike that, "rescued" by my Human.
ReplyDeleteTom is VERY handsome...he reminds us of our Roger Ramjet! Maybe now that he's been tutored he'll not wander so far and come around more...just wishful thinking on our part since he's such a handsome boy!
ReplyDeleteHi Tom! Nice you have an official name now.
ReplyDeleteTom is very handsome (and very lucky)
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blogging and leaving such kind words of comfort. It is wonderful to know that at her end our tough three-legged girl, Milo, was able to find friendship and love with a quiet gentle relative newcomer to our family, Quinn, the Reskimo.
ReplyDeleteNow "Tom" is one mighty fine looking Man cat. You've been so good to him and all the others you've taken in...I hope he realizes what he has in you and the girls. Well and Momma Cat and Daddy Cat, too. And comes to stay.
ReplyDeleteTom is a very handsome ManCat!
ReplyDelete--JB
He's just adorable! You have been so good to him. Welcome, Tom!
ReplyDeleteTom is Very Manly! Glad he's a little less so because of you jumping in and taking care of him.
ReplyDeleteI wonder about the two ferals that are round my house too, that they have another home that feeds them but nothing else, cuz they aren't thin or scraggly, but they aren't handleable, that's fur sure.
Funny how names come about. Punky Brewster was Punkin at first cuz she's orange, but I just kept talking to her, calling her Mama Cat...so now she's Mama Katz (kind of like Mama Cass from the Mama's and Papa's--though she's not fat, hahameow)
