It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know my sweet Daddy Cat passed away in his garage apartment yesterday afternoon with me and Mommy Cat by his side...He had been diagnosed with renal failure just weeks ago and I had been giving him fluids, hoping to give him a little extra time with us but that was not meant to be...He was a wonderful, loving, brave boy who loved his family dearly=he was a precious baby to me for 16 years, a wonderful companion for 15.5 years to Mommy Cat and a great Dad/friend to his son, Jax for 6 years...He was truly, deeply loved and will never be forgotten...Thank you to all who grew to care for him through this blog=your friendship and support these last 6+ years has been greatly appreciated...I have so many photos of my darling boy and will continue to post for him as long as I continue our blog.

So sorry for your loss...he was family, and a sweet and gentle boy. He had a gentle and caring soul and was Mommy Cat's constant companion. He will be missed but never forgotten. He lives in our hearts and love is eternal. So sorry for your loss Jacqueline. My prayers are with you.

We are so very very sorry to read this sad news. Daddy Cat and Mommy Cat together have been a happiness all our short lives. TBT can hardly remember when he first met them. First outside, then allowing the shelter of the garage, and finally, just finally, coming into the house.

We know you all have to be so much mor sadder than we are because you all knew him so much better and that has to be very very very much. But we are still so very sad ourselfs.

I read about Daddy Cat's passing on the Cat Blogosphere site and came to offer my condolences. I too had a beloved cat who suffered renal failure. I tried to help with fluids but it didn't work and she left me. These little creatures, so light and delicate leave such heavy marks upon our hearts. Godspeed, Daddy Cat.
