  17. Suki looks quite regal sitting there.

My husband is still recuperating-it is taking much longer than anticipated-and P. had another visit to the vet-(I thought another asthma attack) the vet thinks it was either because I cleaned the house-and raised the dust, she was exciting to see me or she chewed her blanket and got some fuzz stuck). Given the husband was recuperating I cannot get upset for the house not being clean-but I am trying to stress the need for cleaning with two ashtmatic cats .

    thanks for asking.

  33. Sukki, you are a vision. Beautiful cat for sure.
Jacqueline, thanks for stopping by. You asked about how I came to own these 'elderly' cats. I adopted Ginny when she was 14 from a friend's mother who had to go into a nursing home and desperately needed to find a home for her Ginny. Mr. Ed was posted on the Lanark Animal Shelter (in a town close to where I live) website at the age of 20. I couldn't believe someone would dump him at a shelter at that age so I went up and got him. Come to learn that he was one of 47 cats picked up by Animal Control from a hoarder of cats nearby. The family of the hoarder said the lady had him for almost 20 years. Can you imagine his life..he weighed half of what he should have and had to have all his teeth removed from disease. I guess I am just a sucker for the ones who have endured a difficult life. 5 is enough though. No more room at the inn. Hugs, Deb
