Halle, we think you are very brave to get even that close. But you have a great way to escape just in case it is someone scary coming in the house. That is so cute. Milky-way was the same way he would get sit about halfway up waiting to see who the intruder was trying to get in his house. He was not a big fan of company. Only accepted a few selected folks into his lion's den. Madi and Mom
Halle behind bars? Did she steal a cat toy from Calle and Sukki? That sweet face should never be behind bars unless she is helping in a charity event. I just want to squeeze her and give her kisses! We are in love! xoxo
That's a great spot to be! I tend to look around the corner from the kitchen or from mom's bedroom and I come out if I feel safe. Otherwise, it's under the bed for me.

Meredith doesn't like the stair at this house but the ones at the beach house have the slits inbetween and she does so much better there. Only we don't go there often enough. Mere is a shy kitty. So, I give her lifts downstairs ... going up is all on her.
Very safety-conscious of her! She's making sure there's a barrier between her and whoever is at the door, but her curious is just too great to resist taking a peek.
It must be a very cute sight for whoever comes to call.
Halle's got the right idea...to pretend like she's hiding. And being on the stairs she can definitely get a good view before anything happens to disturb her. Good job, Halle.
That's a great spot Halle! Our Leroy isn't as smart as you...she is at the door meowing as soon as someone comes...and our boy Shadoe, well he really doesn't care whose coming. There aren't many people he feels are worth getting off the bed for..lol

We like sitting on the stairs too. Gives you a good view of the living room and it is high. Almost like sitting in a tree.

Good plan Halle! Minchie runs to the door to welcome the guest and Laila high tails it off to the bedroom under the bed.
