Thankful Thursday

Another thankful day for the awards our kind blog friends have given us lately...We are so honored you guys thought of us and very grateful for the wonderful friendships we have made in the last 5 months.

I was given the Honest Scrap award by my fun, upbeat friend at Lazaro Cooks!...Lazaro made up his own rules and posted 5 random things about himself, so I will do the same...
  1. I am a Private Investigator.
  2. I keep cat food and dog food in my car to feed homeless animals.
  3. I believe in smiling at strangers and showing kindness to others as much as possible.
  4. I am a Libra, born on October 13, so I consider 13 my lucky number.
  5. I love to travel and my favorite vacation spot in the United States is Hawaii, I've been there 5 times; I've also been to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, England, Mexico and a few islands in the Caribbean.

I was given the Life Is Good Award from my sweet friends at Sherkhan's Meowsings, Kat's Kats and A Wizard And An Angel...I posted this award a few weeks ago on May 27 and you can read my answers here, but I wanted to acknowledge and thank my lovely friends for this wonderful honor.

The Versatile Blogger Award was given to us by a number of great friends as well: Sammy and Andy's Meowsville, Danielle at The Life Of A Spoiled Cat, Spot And Fiona and Gotchi-O-Gato...You are supposed to share 9 things about yourself and pass it on to 9 blogs you think are fantastic.
  1. My 3 girls are biological sisters, all born in Arizona; Calle and Halle arrived here at 13 weeks old and Sukki came to live with us when she was 16 months old.

  2. Daddy Cat was born in my garage and I don't know about Mommy Cat; she was found asleep in my garage when she was around 8 weeks old.

  3. Calle and Halle have never given birth, but Sukki was a Mommy to 1 litter of kittens before she arrived here.

  4. Mommy Cat and Daddy Cat had 1 litter of kittens together in my garage on May 13, 2001.

  5. Calle and Halle have both had teeth pulled, but Sukki has not.

  6. Mommy Cat and Daddy Cat have never had teeth pulled.

  7. Calle and Halle were Christmas gifts from my parents; Sukki's first Mom needed to find a home for her and asked me to take her, which turned out to be a wonderful gift as well.

  8. Mommy Cat and Daddy Cat choose to be here, so they kind of adopted me, when they decided to make the garage their home 10 years ago.

  9. All of my cats are loving, affectionate babies and they all really enjoy being together.

Sticking with the photo theme from last weeks awards, these are variations of those images depicting how much my babies enjoy each other and genuinely like to hang out together...

As we stated before, we are cats and we play by our own rules, so, once again, we want our blogging friends to pick an award they would like and accept it from us with love and friendship.

What an interesting post! Mommy wonders what life as a PI is like.

Have we mentioned we have a Cat tree like yours? We don't share it as nicely though...not by a long shot!

Always good to learn a little more about our lovely cat furriends.

Please come by and pass your comment as my (inexperienced) SS is rather intrigued by my position.

If you ladies ever get an award that requires you to give smoochies, can you award those smoochies to me? Thanks.

Congratulations on your awards!

Hmm, a PI sounds interesting, but we guess it's not as thrilling as it is when viewed through the lens of Hollywood. LOL.

Wow, we learned a lot today!
Funny, our mom just started carrying cat food in her car too, and very recently! And our mom LOVES to travel too, similar places as you! Her mom is from Switzerland and dad was from Holland, and has visited Europe a lot. Mom has been to Hawaii a while ago and also loves the Caribbean. Sounds like you have a lot in common with my mom!
Oh, and congrats on all your awards!

Just a fabulous post!
We loved learning more about your Jacqueline! There is no question that you are a very caring and kind person.
When you mentioned that Calle and Halle came to you at such an early age, we wondered about Sukki, but then you answered why she came later. So we all wondered, did Calle and Halle remember Sukki? We all think of them as Jacqueline's Angels (like Charlie's Angels) because they are so gorgeous. And now that we know you are a PI, we are amused at ourselves even more for thinking this!
